I just made this recipe last night for my last specialty bake ever in my co-op. They were a huge hit and super easy to make! I definitely recommend this recipe to anyone, even beginning bakers will be able to pull them off no problem! If you can make chocolate chip cookies, you can make these.
I also want to give credit where credit is due! The original recipe was from Kirbie’s Cravings, which you can find here. I guess these can also be done with chocolate chips if you’re into that, put I thought they were perfect as is!
Ingredients
½ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
½ cup minus 2 tbsp granulated sugar
½ cup minus 2 tbsp light brown sugar
½ cup Nutella
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Cream butter with both sugars until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg, vanilla, and Nutella.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt. Then add into the wet mixture until just combined.
4. Drop the dough by large tablespoons onto baking sheet, about 2 inches apart, and bake for about 8 minutes. Cookies are done when the middle section looks cooked. Cookies will be puffy and will sinks down when cooled and create crackly surface.
Looks like a quick and tasty dessert .
Great recipe! Would loved to try it out =)
Yeah, definitely try it out! It’s not at all hard to make! And yes, it’s also very quick!
